JAPAN CYCLING TOURS

Ride Beyond the Guidebooks

Curated cycling journeys through Japan's mountains, coastlines, islands and hidden regions.

Japan offers an incredible variety of cycling experiences, from the mountain roads of the Japanese Alps to the spectacular coastlines of the Sea of Japan and the Inland Sea.

We offer two different types of cycling tours.

The first category is based in Nozawa Onsen, our home in Japan. These tours allow riders to stay in the same accommodation throughout the trip while exploring different routes each day. This format combines excellent riding with the comfort of returning each evening to traditional Japanese hospitality and relaxing hot springs. We offer two options: the Nozawa Bike Tour, designed for riders looking for a more relaxed experience, and Nagano Hills, a challenging tour for cyclists seeking longer distances and bigger climbs in the Japanese Alps.

The second category includes our point-to-point and regional tours across Japan. These journeys explore some of the country’s most spectacular cycling destinations, including the San’in Coast, Noto Peninsula, Amanohashidate, Shikoku and the Shimanami Kaido. These tours are designed for cyclists who want to discover different regions, cultures and landscapes while travelling through Japan by bike.

All tours are available as private or small-group experiences and can be adapted to suit different riding levels and travel styles.
